Autumn/ Winter resumationof the Filmshow! NEW TIME 2pm

Arnold Ridley - aka Godfrey - one of the most fondly remembered stars of Dad's Army, wrote this play in 1927 after a harrowing experience of being stuck overnight at a Bristol station. It was very popular with the pubic (he was a highly thought of actor well before Dad's Army - from which he emerged somewhat reluctantly from retirement). As a result a film was made, starring very popular actors of the time - and here it is!
